The Centennial 1968 Sears Silvertone Stereo Console​/​ Credenza The original paperwork says this was delivered just a couple of days before Christmas 1968. It sat in the same spot in the basement rec room until my son and I struggled to get it up the most narrow and steep set of stairs that I’ve ever seen. This sleek mid century cabinet features sculpted doors that slide in front of the speakers to create the appearance of a full credenza. They also work to baffle the sound to a softer background music setting. The oak and walnut construction is finished in a rich dark umber tone. Sealed speaker enclosures with 12” woofers and dual horns create a warm vintage room filling sound powered by an updated 90w Bluetooth Receiver retrofitted into the original control panel with integrated backlighting that can change from red to blue by using the original dials for great retro look and feel.
