1965 Telefunken Stereo Console​/​ Bar Cart Originally from West Germany, this stereo console was fully restored and retrofitted with modern user friendly audio equipment To achieve the original MCM aesthetic the original high gloss finish was buffed out, showcasing a great dark walnut grain pattern. Brushed gold trim was added ,where the original was missing , and pairs perfectly with new ivory colored speaker grill cloth and the properly sized black oblique legs. Underneath one of the lids lies a hidden storage area for barware and liquor or wine bottles. The other lid opens to reveal another shallow storage area as well the retrofitted 90watt amplifier with Bluetooth connectivity and the updated turntable to play all your favorite vinyl records. The speakers were retrofitted with LX-2 MKII 5” Bookshelf Speakers ($450 retail) and angled slightly outward to give a room filling sound. I can also have pre wire this so that you can connect additional vintage floor speakers and add lighting to this console if requested.
