FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I create an account? Creating an account is simple! Just click the "Sign Up" button at the top of the page. Follow the prompts to enter your email, create a password, and verify your account through the email link sent to you​​.

How do I set up my seller profile? After signing up, go to “Profile Settings” by clicking on your initials in the upper right corner. Here, you can upload a profile picture, update your name and display name, and create a bio to tell buyers about yourself and your products​​.

How do I list an item for sale? To list an item, log into your account and click "List an Item" in the navigation menu. Follow the prompts to upload photos, write a description, and set your price. Our team will review and verify your listing before it goes live. Please note, for first time listings, you will need to add your payout details through Stripe. This will allow you to receive payment once your item sells.

What types of items can I sell on Refound? Refound is focused on quality pre-loved furniture and home goods. We love vintage and antique pieces as well as pre-owned pieces from your favorite modern brands like West Elm, CB2 and Article.

Do I have to sell exclusively through Refound? We would love everyone to experience the benefits of Refound and would appreciate your support to direct your clients and transactions through our platform. That said, you are not required to sell exclusively through Refound.

The only thing we ask is if a sale is made on another platform you promptly remove the same listing on Refound to ensure the best buyer experience possible.

Are there any fees for listing items? There are no monthly or listing fees on Refound. You only pay a 10% seller fee when your item sells. This fee helps cover transaction costs and supports our community and platform​​.

What delivery options are available? As a seller you have the ability to provide various pickup/delivery options for your items including:

  • Pickup: Buyers can pick up the item directly from you.
  • Local Delivery by Refound: Refound coordinates delivery using trusted local couriers within our service areas. (Current service areas include: Denver, Lakewood, Aurora, Englewood, Arvada, Westminster and Thornton, CO)
  • Shipping/Delivery by Seller: You can offer shipping or delivery yourself at a flat fee to buyers. Please only use this option if you already have a current process in place.

How does Refound ensure secure transactions? All payments on Refound are made securely through Stripe. We also have a dedicated team to monitor transactions and helping to resolve any issues, ensuring a safe marketplace for both buyers and sellers​​​​.

How do I manage my listings? You can manage your listings by clicking on your profile image in the upper right corner and selecting “Your listings.” Here, you can edit or remove listings, view draft listings, and see sold items​​. Communication between interested buyers can be found under "Inbox" in the upper right navigation.

What should I do when an item sells? You will receive an email and a notification on Refound when an item sells. Depending on the delivery method chosen, you will need to either coordinate a pickup time with the buyer, wait for Refound to reach out and coordinate delivery, or ship/deliver the item yourself. Once the item is delivered, you will be prompted to review the buyer​​.

When will I receive payment? Payments are processed through Stripe and will be delivered to your account within 7 days after the buyer confirms receipt of the item​​.

What support is available to me as a seller? Refound offers dedicated support to help with onboarding, listing, and resolving any issues. You can reach out to us at hello@refoundgoods.com for assistance at any time​​.

How does Refound handle low ball offers and scams? We monitor all transactions and communications to prevent scams and low ball offers. All new users and listings are reviewed by our team. Our goal is to maintain a fair and trustworthy marketplace for all users​​​​.
