There are 4 matching cups with the distinct square form and square handle, and 4 matching square saucers, marked with "Brookpark" on the bottoms of the saucers. These beautiful mid century colored melamine dishes are perfect for spring time in the park, or summer camping trips. Or enjoy them out on the patio for a morning cup of coffee or tea. They are playful and full of retro character. This color was typically produced in the 1950s and 1960s, with Melamine dinnerware becoming extremely popular in homes from the 1940s-1970s and even into the 80s. Melamine is generally not microwave safe, and could potentially loose luster and discolor if put in the dishwasher. All the pieces in this set are in excellent vintage condition. There are no noted chips or cracks, they've maintained a soft sheen, and there are no significant scratches. There are some faint minor scuffs on the saucers.
