1961 Drexel Declaration Nightstands From the iconic line designed by Kipp Stewart & Stewart MacDougall, this pair of nightstands exuded MCM class. In my opinion, Drexel build quality is miles above other manufacturers of the time. The carefully selected bookmatched and sequenced wood grain is a staple of the Declaration line and this pair is no exception. In 100% original conditon, the fully polished finish has a rich warm tone that pairs well with nearly any other wood type. I currently have them in my dining room with shitty oak floors, a teak stereo console, walnut table and rosewood chairs. I picked these up with the intention of modifying them into vinyl record storage cabinets by removing the middle shelf.... I couldn't bring myself to do it since they were in such great condition.
