Vintage, mid century brass and aluminum flying saucer-style adjustable floor lamp made by MG Wheeler of Greenwich, CT. Classic mid century UFO style design and three-way original turn switch. UL label intact on the underside of the shade. This very functional lamp adjusts by sliding the bracket down the pole and can go all the way down to the ground leaving the shade about 13” from the floor or all the way up to a height of approximately 48 inches. The 13 inch diameter brass top shade has its original finial and has light scuffs and one very minor dent. The weighted base has some minor scuffing commensurate with age. Original wiring and in working condition although it is always recommended to replace vintage wiring. Overall projection of shade from base support arm is 15 inches. Height from base to top of support arm is 44 inches. Based diameter is 10 inches and cord is approximately 6’6” long from the base of the arm. Shade can be removed and packaged for ease of transportation
