About the listing author
Hello, I'm Blake B.
Hi! My name is Blake, and I am a country girl, turned mountain girl, from Kentucky. My wife is a professor, and her job brought us to the mountain west five years ago, and we have completely fallen in love with it. I own a photography business that keeps me very busy, but I am always looking for free time to refinish Danish and MCM furniture. It is a hobby that I love very much. I use only the best products from Mohawk and general finishes, and I pay great attention to detail in every piece that I work on. All of the furniture in our personal home is an MCM piece that I have restored (mostly danish). I absolutely love meeting other MCM’ers, and I am very passionate about providing information on the history of pieces, refinishing tips, and just talking about all things mid century. Honesty and transparency are very important values to me, and if there was one tip that I could give to anyone on here, it is to thoroughly inspect anything you’re thinking about buying.
