A beautiful antique framed print of the famous "The Avenue at Middleharnis" by Meindert Hobbema. This was framed in the early 1990's. The print is signed but the title is "Avenue of Trees". If you google that name as a painting, The Avenue at Middelharnis does still pull up, so perhaps it went by both names. There is an artist signature, but he died in the 1700's, so I'm not sure how this is to be, unless this is a limited edition of some sort that was framed later. The gold wood frame is beautiful, but does have wear as seen in photos. The glass is original and old, with a bit of wave, some spots, a light scratch or two and small bubbles. It is wonderful old piece and will look great in your romantic European decor!
